I decided on a career change and am currently studying veterinary nursing at Canterbury College. Attending college one day a week and working in practice the rest of the time. I attended Manor vets for work experience and was lucky enough to be offered a place to train, joining the team in August 2014. My areas of interest include surgery and bereavement support. At home I have a golden retriever called Blaze. My hobbies include dog walking, gardening and reading.
Laura Andrews - Student Veterinary Nurse
Ive always loved animals and after completing work experience at Manor I was given the opportunity to help with reception work at the practice on a Sunday. Shortly after a trainee
position became available and I was offered a job. I started attending the three year part time veterinary nursing course at Canterbury College in September 2014, aiming to qualify in the summer of 2017. My area of interest is exotics animals and I hope to gain further experience in this field once qualified. At home I have three cats called Riley, William and Harry, three guinea pigs and two tortoises. I enjoy spending my spare time at home with my pets.
